These draft terms describe the Slab digital trading-card platform, its randomized digital packs, card vault, and physical-card shipping service.
1. Operator and contact
[Insert Slab's legal entity, address, and support contact]
Complete these details before publication.
2. Eligibility
Slab is for people aged 18 or older. Creating an account requires an 18+ self-attestation. The account form does not collect a date of birth or independently verify age.
3. Digital packs and randomized contents
Slab sells digital packs with randomized contents. The shop shows each pack's name, description, and price before you begin opening. Pack and card images are digital previews; opening a pack adds digital card records to your Slab vault. A cryptographic commitment is shown before opening so the result can be checked afterward.
When you select the price-labelled opening action or tear the pack seal, you expressly consent to immediate opening and acknowledge the effect this may have on withdrawal rights where applicable. Slab saves a dated confirmation to your account's Receipts archive before revealing the cards. Opened packs are generally non-refundable, subject to mandatory consumer rights and remedies for errors or failures.
4. Coins and card values
Coins are account credit used within Slab. They are not cash, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be withdrawn as money. Card market values are estimates based on third-party market data and can change; they are not a promise of resale value.
5. Physical cards and shipping
Cards selected for delivery may come from Slab's owned stock or be sourced from the secondary market after a shipment is requested. A shipment may arrive in separate parcels depending on its source. Shipping fees are charged in coins and shown before you confirm and pay for a shipment.
The documented fee schedule is 1,000 coins for up to three cards individually valued at €10 or more, 500 coins for each additional card in that group, and 800 coins for each card valued below €10. An objection to the displayed fee alone is not a ground for a refund, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
6. Refunds and consumer rights
Refund eligibility for packs, coin purchases, and shipping fees is described in the Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
